Transylvania County Forest Fire Update, March 31, 2025 6PM (Summary)
- The Transylvania County curfew is ended.
- Three boards have been setup with maps and information on the fire operation. They are located at Cedar Mountain Fire Department, The Outpost and at Transylvania County Public Safety. These boards will be updated daily.
- Route 276 is closed at the SC state line.

Transylvania County Forest Fire Update, March 29th 6PM (SUMMARY)
- Yesterday and today have been very productive days for firefighters working to contain the Table Rock Complex Fire in North Carolina.
- The Southern Area Blue Team has increased their controlled burn area to 5000 acres.
- Periodic map update will be issued as a snapshot of the known fire line when available.
- Rain is expected tonight into tomorrow that be helpful to fire control.
- We have great news to share, though we are not out of the woods quite yet several fire lines appear to be holding and containing the fire in certain areas.
- A curfew is still in place from 8 PM to 8 AM tonight for the evacuation area only.

Transylvania County Forest Fire Update, March 29th Noon (SUMMATION SHOWING ONLY NEW INFO)!
- The Southern Area Blue Team operations is planning a 3,000 acre burn on the west side of the fire that could produce additional smoke, but this is part of fire line control activity.
- Weather conditions are more favorable today, but wind is expected to pick up this afternoon.
- Crews have completed home preparation & structure protection in the evacuated area.
- East Fork Road is closed from the East Fork entrance of Connestee Falls, to Glady Fork Rd to keep roads clear for fire crews to travel.

Transylvania County Forest Fire Update, March 29th 9:30AM & 3/28/25 11AM (SUMMARIES)
. The Fireline was maintained overnight.
. No homes have been impacted in Transylvania County by the wildfires.
. East Fork Road is closed from the East Fork entrance of Connestee Falls, to Glady Fork Rd to keep roads clear for fire crews to travel.
. Today’s weather conditions are improved from yesterday. Both air and ground resources will be utilized today.
On Friday, the fire expanded from the South Carolina State line into the areas south and east of East Fork road, the fire line is primarily limited to the state line area, with a spot fire identified at Busted Rock, NC. As of 6pm Friday March 28, no structural involvement had been confirmed. Saturday will have low humidity and wind conditions make wildland fire fighting efforts very difficult.

Air assets are being deployed to support fire fighting activities in the area of Dolly Masters, Glady Fork, Crane Lane and East Fork. Federal, state and regional/local mutual aid departments are supporting fire fighting activities for Connestee Fire Rescue and Cedar Mountain Fire Rescue Inc.
